ABOUT ME

A steady, evidence-based approach to trauma and stress.

Trauma-responsive support for anxiety and chronic stress

Welcome — I’m Melanie Palmer. I’m glad you’re here.

I work with first responders and high-stress professionals who are used to holding it together for everyone else, even when things start to feel unsteady inside.

Therapy here is trauma-responsive and paced with care — so you can slow down, feel supported, and begin to regain balance without pressure.

As a Trauma-Responsive Therapist, my approach is client-centered, strength-based, and focused on practical solutions that support healing, resilience, and long-term well-being. My work is rooted in evidence-based practices and guided by deep respect for the individuals I serve.

A Trust-Based Approach I understand that seeking help is a courageous and often challenging step—especially for those in high-demand roles. That’s why I offer a free initial phone or telehealth consultation. It's a simple, no-obligation way for us to connect and determine whether working together is the right fit for you.

Experience with First Responders

I have extensive experience working with law enforcement, fire, EMS, dispatch, and other high-stress roles. I understand the culture, vigilance, and realities of these professions — and provide care that respects that.

Therapy should feel steady and grounded. My priority is creating an environment where you feel secure, respected, and understood.
